TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified OR RN in Siler City, North Carolina, 27344 About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty: Operating Room (OR) Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days, 4x10 Hr shifts, will staff in OR and either PACU or PreOp Guaranteed Hours: 40.00 per week Experience: Minimum one year of nursing experience License: Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification (AHA or ARC) Must-Have: Nursing Diploma or ADN/ASN from an accredited school of Nursing Job Description: - Participate in identifying and addressing the learning needs of self and others. - Attend educational programs based on identified learning needs. - Use patient education materials relevant to the patient population. - Assess readiness to learn of the patient, family, or caregivers. - Evaluate care by identifying expected patient outcomes and revising plans as needed. - Communicate relevant information to promote continuity of care. - Demonstrate competence in caring for patients with complex issues, including addressing physical, psychosocial, educational, and safety aspects. - Perform bedside point-of-care testing required for patient care plans. - Utilize healthcare organization and nursing standards in care delivery. - Organize and prioritize care according to patient and family needs. - Consult with appropriate resources for patients with complex care issues. - Develop professional goals and achieve them within the identified timeframe. - Participate in developing and achieving unit goals and performance improvement activities. - Promote cost-effective care and contribute to a safe, clean, and secure hospital environment. - Recognize data from complex situations to determine care priorities. - Collaborate with patients and families to prepare or update care plans. - Address cultural and ethnic issues in patient care planning. - Read and discuss applicable studies or articles to practice. 26143048EXPPLAT Job Requirements Required for Onboarding ACLS - AHA BLS - AHA Core Competency Pharmacology Skills Checklist Specialty Exam About Cynet Health Your travel nursing adventure begins here.
