GSD Search is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care
Unit for a travel nursing job in Henderson, North Carolina. Job
Description & Requirements
--- Role: RN
--- Specialty: PCU
--- Number of Openings: 1
--- Shift: 7P
--- Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
--- Weekend Hours: every other weekend
--- Call Requirements: yes
--- Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS
--- Years of Experience: 2yrs acute care hospital
--- Float Requirements: yes to med/surg and ED/ICU overflow (care
for PCU/Medsurg overflow patients)--- Additional Notes: ED/ICU
would only be to care for PCU or lower acuity patients. Unless they
have ICU experience and feel comfortable in which case we would
want competencies for ICU as well. Unit Information: --- Number of
Beds: 12
--- Patient Ratios: 4:1
--- Equipment: typical unit setup. Computers on wheels, IV pumps
and poles etc.
--- EHR: Paragon --- Patient Population e.g. "geriatric, adult,
peds, etc.": adult and geriatric Hiring Profile: --- Must Have
Skills/Experience: rhythm recognition, management of cardiac drips
such as Cardizem and Amiodarone
--- Preferred Skillset/Experience: NIHSS
--- Common Diagnosis/Treatment: CHF, COPD, A-fib RVR
--- Personality Fit: proactive, outgoing, friendly, team oriented
--- Required Education: AND, PCCN certified preferred Dress Code:
--- Scrub Color: navy blue or black

is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to
confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined. About
