The RN in Emergency Services provides comprehensive direct and
indirect patient care in a fast-paced environment, applying the
nursing process for effective assessment and treatment. This role
requires strong communication skills to collaborate with the
healthcare team and appropriately address patient needs. Candidates
should possess at least an Associate degree in nursing, a current
RN license in North Carolina, and relevant certifications.

Position Summary:
The ED RN will provide direct and indirect patient care utilizing
the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and
evaluation. This position will meet the physical, psychosocial,
religious/cultural and needs of the patient and family and will
communicate effectively with all members of the health care team as
appropriate about changes in the patient's condition or response to
treatment.Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
Required Education:
Associate degree is required. Bachelor's degree is preferred
Required License:
Registered Nurse in North Carolina is required (or compact
state)
Required Certification:
BLS required
ACLS is required within 6 months of hire
Other:
1 year of experience in a health care setting is preferred
