Description:Pack & Ship Supervisor - Hemp-Based ProductsLocation: Asterra Labs - Nashville, North CarolinaCompensation: $22-$24/hour DOESchedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PMJob Type: Full-TimeAsterra Labs, a division of Oak Ridge Industries, is looking for a motivated and experienced Pack & Ship Supervisor to oversee shipping, receiving, and inventory management at our Nashville, NC facility. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will be responsible for optimizing and maintaining an efficient system for packaging and shipping hemp-based products, as well as improving inventory management processes.Key Responsibilities:Supervise and actively participate in daily packing and shipping operationsOversee receiving and inventory management, ensuring accuracy and organizationImplement and improve systems for tracking inventory and shipping logisticsMaintain compliance with company policies and quality control standardsTrain and lead team members in best practices for shipping, receiving, and inventory managementCoordinate with other departments to streamline workflow and resolve logistical issuesQualifications:Proven experience in shipping, receiving, inventory management, or logisticsAbility to take initiative and improve processes rather than just stepping into an existing systemStrong organizational skills and attention to detailLeadership experience preferred; ability to train and oversee a small teamExperience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or fulfillment environment is a plusDependable, efficient, and capable of working independentlyWhat We Offer:Competitive pay ($22-$24/hour DOE)Monday - Friday schedule (8:00 AM - 4:30 PM)Opportunity to shape and develop efficient shipping and inventory systemsA collaborative team environment in a growing industryExcellent benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and a 401(k) plan with a generous company matchIf you're looking for a leadership role where you can make a real impact on shipping and inventory operations, we'd love to hear from you.
